Hello!
So I suffer from pretty bad migraines. This has been the case since I was about fourteen years old but into my twenties these seemed to settle until recently. After much discussion with my GP, neurologists, herbal experts (you name them, I spoke to them) I decided to turn to the glorious internet where I realised that there was lots of positive feedback about daith piercings.
Spurred on by the idea that it could ease my headaches and how banging it looked I decided to try it out.

I got mine done by the lovely Louise at Blue Box Custom Tattoo in Dunfermline. She was so friendly and explained everything she was doing before and as she did it. I really didn’t find it painful at all - I’d explain it more as a feeling of pressure than anything else. It was done within five minutes and Louise explained all the aftercare to me - warm salt water and a cotton bud to clean it daily and I’ve really had no problems with it since (fingers crossed). I’ve had it a month now and I really love how it looks and I’ve noticed significant improvement with my migraines.
I would highly recommend getting it done if it’s something you like the look of or are looking for alternative help with your migraines - although I would say that it doesn’t work for everyone. I think it looks super good and is hidden away enough if you’re looking to get a piecing that’s not too noticeable and one that you can still sleep on as it is inside of the ear!
Excited to feed my new addiction and get more!
